Could I ask what device and browser you’re using to play? That’ll help me figure out what’s causing the issue. In the meantime, this error shouldn’t occur if you play through Steam with the downloaded version
Im guessing clearing cache would make it work. You could open a inkognito mode just to test first so that you dont clear cache when that is not the issue.
But there is support for mac for the downloaded version though, if you dont want to clear cache
