that is 100% part of it! I love the degraded and nostalgic feel it brings forth. It is a vibe that creeps into a lot of the photos I take. The photo in for the cover is one I took years ago but is something I have always wanted to use for something. I am really glad I got the chance with this! I think more people should approach putting TTRPGs in the modern day since it can often be far more relatable to play as a young adult trying to get out of their dead end town, vs being a 4ft talk barbarian gnome named Yumyumbigtoe the third or something... granted that sounds fun too.
