Mobile games don't have much traction here - the challenge is to get more interest in mobile games here rather than having someone click through to a new website.

I would not be able to give you a list of supported Android devices for my games - there are too many devices - even stores like Amazon.com that used to do that gave up. The only helpful information would be to list the software's minimum version: Like Unity 6 - minimum Android version is xxx, minimum IOS version is xxx etc.

Mobile installation instructions are always the same. On Android it's click the .apk and your device does the rest.

I think it would be best to have all the information on the game's listing page here.

Thanks, this is really helpful! The point about minimum OS version instead of a full device list makes sense — much more practical.

For reference, here's the site I mentioned: gtasanapkmod.com — it's focused on GTA San Andreas for Android specifically, with mod guides and download info. Curious if keeping this kind of detailed content off itch.io and just linking to it (like I'm considering) is common, or if most devs here prefer keeping everything on-page

I definitely prefer having all the information on the itch.io page. Where I'd click a link is in instances of the developer posting: you can see more of my work here, or you can follow me on Patreon etc.

And some mods are just piracy; others offer legit add-ons. I don't know that itch.io has the time to investigate it in detail, they'd probably honour a take-down request.
