Kinda sucks how the saves don't transfer between updates...still good tho
You can move the saves manually. Been doing that and it works just fine.

I think it's because when an update comes, it brings new story for the next hearts which weren't previously there, making it compulsory to return to 0 to play properly, but idk just guessing
