Thanks for responding! Honestly the NVL text covering half of the screen wasn't that big of a deal - if you middle click with a mouse it temporarily hides any text on the screen so you can see the background. I don't know if that's super well known or not but makes it easier to appreciate all of the photos. Speaking of, you can absolutely tell that you used an actual film camera for this - there really is just no way of getting that same look digitally. I know film is a lot more effort than digital, but I think it was totally worth it in this case. Even if the street photo is blurry I wouldn't say that takes anything away from it, either.
If there's anywhere you've posted some of your short stories publicly I'd be very interested in reading them, but completely understandable if not. In any case I'm glad to hear that you're working on another VN and I will definitely be looking forward to it!
