I really enjoyed this and your writing! I like the aspect of being in a child and having different relationships. Your prose is so lovely though the change in writing style near the end did leave me a little confused at time. I hope we get to have our own familiar! :)

I did, indeed , try something a little different toward the end, because I wanted to pick up the pace and also because I was focusing more on *memories*—let’s say—rather than immediate action. I hope that didn’t take you too far out of the story. <3
