I quite liked it as a cute exploration of disability and ableism, the way that the fishermen are ablest in human ways the "If I couldn't climb I 'd kill myself" being especially brutal. The way that also the legged fish themselfs have failed to make it accommodating to fish without legs is great in the way that it subtly comments on the fact that being disabled doesn't automatically fix all the issues the fishermen had.
