I don't remember, sorry. The challenge is mostly completing the map imo. But I saw your solution and it was pretty cool. I did not think to hit that wall. Also, I just drove a crazy run myself which is why I decided to look at this post again.
Nice run! I found that if you hold down right, tap up, then release both before landing then the car weirdly rights itself each time which makes finishing easier, but it's never gonna be as fast as your solution..
