Wait a second, I think you just need to max out your QI, and you're fine
(I meant get 10, I was doing multiple things and my brain did wrong word)
You first need to go get some items in other places by choosing Escape, or at least that what makes the most sense
You need an amount of qi that is somewhere between 8 and 9 for lvl 5 defense
