Didn't expect such a pessimistic ending throughout what was a pretty hopeful and cheery story. Ofc, amazing representation of going to a furry con btw. Could def relate to some of the view points mentioned. Like how furry con culture would be considered very weird to look out from the outside but because everybody is like-minded, it is treated like part of everyday life. Makes me appreciate furry cons for being one of the few queer safe spaces out there.
I also came out of a furry con myself with heightened expectations only to leave feeling disappointed when I didn't get to achieve what I wanted. So in a sense, the ending wasn't too far fetched
