I enjoyed it!
I think I struggled a bit partly out of a misunderstanding about what kind of game it was due to other TF games I've played in the past. I don't know why I thought acquiring the items was a purely "for fun" bonus collectible that effectively let you see a fun TF again but make you lose, almost like unlocking an ending in one game might let you revisit it in a gallery.

Once I understood that the dungeon was actually meant to be tackled in multiple different runs, and the fact I got the items actually opened up new paths for me, I feel like I really saw the potential for the game. Whether items are the only thing that you retain across runs or if it can be expanded to have more things potentially react or change, like levels that shift corridors, or npcs who move or behave differently, maybe a monster changes behavior based on what tf you were under when you die to them for example. (if none of that is possible for various reasons then disregard but I still like the idea of how the items work in that space)  I think the idea that dying is not a flat reset, that some of your actions may have accomplished something even if you didn't clear the level, is something that should be leaned into. I think it could maybe be more clearly communicated, it worked fine enough, I did figure it out eventually but I just feel like maybe slightly different wording or graphics to the "you died" screen might be enough to get the point across. I should say it is my fault, the screen does make it clear we aren't resetting, but that we were resurrected, but still, I just feel like that might be something is a bit lost right now.

I'm very curious what role classes will play in the game. From what it felt like in the prototype stats don't seem to be a real factor and are more of a flavor thing. I figure classes could maybe alter  text or descriptions for certain events or interactions while ultimately not really changing gameplay very much, but if you have a deeper mechanic in mind for them I'd be interested in seeing it.

I hope that feedback was helpful, I am looking forwards to whatever you decide to do.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

And yeah, I am realizing that conveying exactly what the game is, early on, is something I need to do better (somehow).

Currently, classes will just be cosmetic changes. A lot of what can and can’t happen in future levels will very much hinge on what kind of puzzles I’m smart enough to actually make functional XD

Well I thought you had a lot of really fun and creative interactions and ideas in OPP so if it winds up feeling anything like those I'll be very excited to see!

I think OPP's biggest strength was it's really curated interactions, characters and scripted events. The game COULD have just been the endless mode and it would be perfectly enjoyable but it's the way the story kept building on or exploring ideas that made it so loveable to me. All that to say I guess that I think focusing on curated puzzles over randomization or making each class play fundamentally different just for the sake of it is definitely a good approach.

Also I felt a little weird talking about what kind of TF stuff I might like to see in my original message as it feels a lot like begging when at the end of the day I just hope you make whatever it is that you want to make, but whatever I'll go for it here.

Ive got a lot of stuff I would love but feel like might clash or just generally not be exactly what you're looking for like animal, monster or object tf but on thing I thought might be more in line maybe if you're interested in. I've always been a big fan of detachable or just disappearing of parts. So like armless, mouthless, ect, whether it's from an accompanied tf like a slug-girl or just on its own like magically disappearing or detachable parts / portals even like the portal bra from OPP, but with like a head for example. Or just like, a dullahan monster. Don't know if you're actually looking for these sorts of suggestions or if you'd prefer strictly mechanical / gameplay feedback, sorry if that's the case.
