The extra HUD details like the inventory slots and the time, money, and bars all distract from the dialogue. Excluding all that, I like big, free-flowing portrait. Kinda reminds me of Hades.

Thanks for the input. I can easily hide those things to keep dialogue immersive. I think it's a great idea since A Forest Tail has a super rich story and many deep side stories to find.

So, I'm putting a new setting in that will allow you to change whether the status bars and time show, individually.

Status Bars: (Dropdown)
Time and indicator: (Dropdown)
Options

  • Always Shown
  • Always Hidden
  • Show on status change and below half
    • Also the half thing won't effect gold amount, just number changes.
    • Just "Show on hour change" for time
    • Also also, When things DO change, it stays faded in for 10 seconds so you have time to see it before it fades back out.
  • Only on status change
    • "Only on hour change for time"

Lastly, each one will have a tick box for "Hide During Dialogue" so you can still always hide it when there's dialogue on screen.
