Haters may literally hate everything, and attack everyone, which is an awful mood for the community. Maybe it's out of fear, or arrogance? But it has has become a label to insult people for critiquing media.
Everyone cares about the media they enjoy, analysing that and conversing about our standards will only lead to a deeper understanding and more enjoyment of what it is.
