Very strong cover art. I'm jealous!

Font size is right at the edge of legibility at the table.  I would probably pop the font up a size and turn the descriptive paragraphs in each encounter area into short bullet points instead, given that space is at such a premium in this jam. The font size also seems to change page to page, sometimes even within a page, which makes it look less polished than it deserves.

Good map with meaningful choices, including a passage that only the tiniest characters can get through.

I worry that if every corpse but one punishes players for inspecting them, the players will just start walking past the corpses, making those rooms effectively empty. (Dead crawlers don't get to turn treasure into XP via carousing back in Luton.)

The premise for this adventure is pretty good, Appendix N-wise -- venture into the dark with a glowing crown and put it on a statue to banish the darkness for a year -- but I'd like to see the weird and creepy tone cranked up a bit more to match the solid idea. Check out the novella Black God's Kiss by C.L. Moore, if you haven't, for an example venturing into a very scary dark realm.

Good straightforward adventure that could be taken to the next level with a few minor tweaks.

Thank you for the review! I used art from Yuri Perkowski for the whole thing, and I can’t sing his praises enough!

Font Size – I Agree that the font size is a little small. I did a lot of test prints at different sizes and settled on 11pt X-Typewriter for the room titles and 9pt Inconsolata for the descriptions, which I found hit the right balance for me when printed at the table. I personally don’t like doing just bullet points for my descriptive paragraphs, as I find it’s really easy for my intention to be misconstrued when I try to do that, so I tried to go with a slightly different approach in keying this one, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The one place where I’m a little disappointed with is the back panel – there was just too much information on the monsters that I needed to convey from a system perspective, so I shrank the text on that panel to 8pt Inconsolata instead of 9pt. The design intention is that the page be folded into a trifold, so each panel is consistent, but I agree that as a full page it can look a little out of place.

Thank you for the reccomendation for the book, also. I’m definitely going to check it out!
