Hi, Diego! Thanks so much for playing, and for the compliments. I love making games that have a good (often hard) survival mechanic, and nice level design to make the player have to backtrack and give a bigger feel to the world (TRS is perfect as-is for those two things!).
I make my TRS Games uneditable mostly so that players have to beat them by keeping at them, replaying and finding just the right combination in order to get the ending! I feel most satisfied when players do that, because it gives them a greater sense of accomplishment.
I made this game purposely difficult so that players can't just breeze through it, forcing them to play multiple times until they win.
I still die playing BTG myself when I don't follow my own rules! As you know, I hate giving-out spoilers, so I'll just say: there are a very few ways to beat BTG, so if you do certain things in a specific order, you'll have an easier time beating it (eg. no need to use the potion right away; explore and see who and what unlocks the different doors! Also, it never hurts to not try to kill every single foe in order to beat the game! [I don't like skipping foes, so my completionist side tells me to kill them all, then go to the ending]).
I'm happy that you're having fun exploring the many different ways to reach a conclusion. :)
PS: It wouldn't be much of a TRIBUTE to you and Andre if I didn't make you have to spend some real time trying to beat it! ;)
