really nice art style and writing, I love the tribute to your cat and your other animals. this is easily the most charming game in the jam, as usual! I ran into a couple bugs: the brown asteroids in certain spots can bounce you downwards in a really strange way, for me in the first asteroid field, it was sending me through the asteroids back to the last planet. the black asteroids can also be shot again after they are broken apart, and become larger again before breaking into a similar size. on another note, I think the ship controls could be improved, they're kind of frustrating to control. maybe something like universal crumble/rumble? or just having a back thruster would help. it also seems like the either the hitbox for the ship or the fish is a bit too small, where the sprites can be overlapping quite a bit without picking up the item.
and the bees landlocked me by crowding around my ship :(
