The general idea was that this update is a linear story update that only includes the third recruitment arc and Aline's character arc. The idea was that while not too many characters are involved the update would be finished quickly before we start with the very large update 9 (which would then have a new growth level for all characters).
Well.... things happened and somehow update 8 has almost 20k lines of code and story š
