I love how it's an excerpt from an actual book! Very simple visually but clean and book-like as intended so great job there. The prose is written clear and succinctly. I think I like that it's not in bullet points nor bolded - a book you read wouldn't be. I can focus on the content! Overall, lovely job.
Some layout things to consider:
1. Justified text looks a little wonky as it leaves a lot of gaps, especially in this column space you've set up.
2. The font chosen was a bit difficult to read even zoomed in on digital, especially the locations on the map.
