Hi there! I'm David, and used to write games for the ZX Spectrum back in the day. Now I'm trying to get back into interactive fiction and designing simple physical games with small rulesets. Hi David! What kind of game genres interest you? Also, apologies for a noob quesh, but what was the ZX Spectrum exactly? a console or a PC? I can only recognize it by vivid colors (similar to PICO i guess)
P.S. ye ye i know i can just look it up, but I much rather learn from real people with real hands-on experience. Its more fun that way :D
Pretty much every genre, to be honest :) And the ZX Spectrum was one of the very first commercially available home computers, predating the PC; A lofty 8 bits with a massive 16 or 48k of memory running from a Z80A processor, and introduced a whole generation in the early nineteen-eighties to coding :)
