I can agree with a lot of what you're saying. I've definitely used AI for scripting; it does a great job for the most part. It's not great for doing a lot of other things, but it is a very powerful tool that I think more developers should be able to use. It saves a lot of time when it comes to prototyping and bouncing ideas around. Since I've used AI in my projects, I definitely noticed that I've become much more efficient in creating a game. Whether that's programming, image creation, or just bouncing ideas.
