I have to say, you're one of the most appreciative creators I've ever had the pleasure of translating a game for. You seemed genuinely excited when I offered to translate For Amerta into French, and the art you drew for me was perfect. So please don't feel bad and don't be so harsh on yourself. I can tell that you truly care about both translations and translators. You always took the time to answer my questions and did your best to help whenever I needed it. I can only speak for myself, since I don't know how the other translators feel, but simply accepting my translation meant a lot to me. I often get no reply from developers, so your enthusiasm and support really made me happy. As for the compensation, I never expected anything. I know that most creators on itch make their games as passion projects. That's the case for me as well, translating free visual novels is something I do because I genuinely enjoy it. I only translate games that I truly love, and being able to let French-speaking players play some of my favorite indie games is already more than enough for me.
So thank you for being such a great person and good luck for your personal life!
