Sorry, but inspiration struck. It occurred to me that, well, it's already known that Elizabeth, so to speak, casts her magic on the stars. And the church where Elena serves has a star as its symbol.
So perhaps they both worship the stars, but in completely different ways, like Catholics and Orthodox. Elena's church is similar to the Catholic faith in that they have one main star *say, Faina* (like the Pope), and they believe it's the highest of the stars, the pinnacle of the hierarchy. But Elizabeth believes the stars, like in Orthodoxy, are equal, and perhaps they have something like a council of metropolitans.
