I’m sad to say I really didn’t like this one, because it has the absolute best prose I’ve read so far. What I don’t like is that, basically, the whole table will just sit there and roll a d20 to see what’s in the next room and then, maybe, fight Tan, which doesn’t sound much fun. You have an incredible prose, the formatting is pleasant (I wouldn’t call it evocative, but it’s really readable) but ever-changing dungeons are very hard to get right and here the PCs don’t really have a way to strategize or make choices in the order of the rooms. I would have loved this setting, prose and set-up paired with something more playable (if you’re planning an extended edition, the room-changing or map-generation mechanics is a good place to invest a couple more paragraphs in).

Im plannning on expanding it a lot! I felt a little constrained by the timing and my lack of experience working on OSR of any kind (this is my first OSR module ive ever written!) , but i think now that the jams over, i will absolutely be going back and reworking it into something much larger and more detailed. In the expanded document i wrote before needing to pare things down, i had alternate rules for the way the dungeons structuered, different timers, a more detailed fight with tan... all kinds of stuff! Id like to focus more on the world building, and id like to expand the rooms to have more to do and see. Specifically, id like the Ritual rooms with the chalk circle to have some actions around them, as well as the gardens. Id like to have outdoors portions to the map too, as well as possible alternate endings and routes of getting through it! As is, im.... less than happy with what i put out, but i had to make something *functional*, and i think i at least accomplished that.
