Looking for a Game Jam Team! | Narrative Writer + Horror Enthusiast

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to join/form a team for an upcoming game jam. I'm a narrative/game writer and I especially love creating psychological horror, horror mystery, unsettling stories, and narrative-driven games.

I'm looking for people who enjoy experimenting and actually want to build something together rather than just chasing a perfect submission.

 Looking for:

  • 2D/3D Artist
  • Programmer / Developer
  •  Sound Designer / Musician
  •  Game Designer (if available)

 What I can bring:

  • Story & narrative design
  • Character development
  • Dialogue
  • Worldbuilding & lore
  • Horror concepts
  • Puzzle/story integration
  • Game flow and narrative structure

I already have a few psychological-horror concepts brewing, but I'm also completely open to building an idea together with the team.

I'm mainly looking for people who are communicative, creative, respectful of each other's work, and willing to actually participate throughout the jam.

If you're interested, comment below or DM me with your role, experience, and a little about what kind of games you enjoy making.

Let's make something strange enough that players remember it after they close the game.

Hey. I'm developing a social simulation engine and I'm trying to make narrative driven games. You can see my first attempt here: https://beseda.itch.io/conversatio-machina and a shorter one: https://beseda.itch.io/aubrac-more-than

Now I'm focusing on the RPG genre - you can check out my attempt here: https://beseda.itch.io/gmtk-2026-jam. I rebuilt the engine from scratch so this game is focused entirely on the gameplay. To get a feeling of what the story could be please check out the attached PDF. Basically if you decide to join you can see what the player actions are going to be - explore maps, communicate with NPCs. Combat would either not be represented or it would be simple/automatic.

The ambition is to make a game which combines (internal) psychological stories and macro sociological stories. I'm emphasising the internal states and how they can be regulated via mini games. For example - the character is surprised and the player may express that surprise, or try to regulate it and express something different. I don't like dice rolls and dialogue choices being un/available based on stats (Charisma > 5).

Not interested in horror that much but I am open to including horror segments in the story.

Let me know what you think

yeah sure you can dm me on discord rosemary_16996

I can compose some music if you're interested? I'm not the best at horror or sound design as in sfx but I can promise the songs will at least sound good to the untrained ear.

Hola , no tengo mucha experiencia pero se la base de diseño 3D , he completado varios proyectos , podría colaborar con ustedes también
