Quick (sort of bug): once you have the initial meeting and exit the office building, if you immediately re-enter, it triggers the sequence again.
(EDIT): Actually, this might be fully breaking. i assume i have to meet rex in the office somewhere, but you can't get through into the office without retriggering, and so I don't think you can progress into the new story yet.
