Hi!!! I'm so so sorry if this is a silly question; I just found out about this game from Majuular, and I am absolutely entranced! I've seen a lot, though I'm sure nowhere close to all of the content the demo on steam has to offer. I can feel the passion and love you put in to this game, and I am unbelievably eager to see it flourish in to a full release. I cannot think of a game that better encapsulates my interests and fascinations than Lawmage Academy, and I feel almost a sort of grief for not knowing about its existence sooner, haha.

I by no means truly "understand" how stressful it is to be a game developer in any sense of the word; I couldn't hello world myself out of a cardboard box to save my life, and I can't do any art above stick figures. But I can definitely recognize when someone is burnt out and needs a change. I know some people have been mean and cruel to you about prioritizing your life over finishing this game, and from the bottom of my heart I hope you understand that I and many, many others are truly happy for you being able to live life like you'd please.

I'm sure you've been asked before, but I can't find anything related to it, so I am forced to ask myself; Have you considered taking on people to help you work on the game, or even in your stead? Or would you prefer to wait until the time is right to continue working on Lawmage? I am really new to the community, so I don't really know how you would feel about such a thing, if you'd be open to it, or if even entertaining the idea you feel would cloud your vision. More than any definitive answer, I'm more so just trying to... "get in your head" so to speak, if that makes sense? I want to understand where you're at with the game, its soul, and your soul!

No matter what happens, I hope you continue to prioritize your life and happiness over making a game, even one as full of love as Lawmage Academy.

Thank you very much for the kind words!

I feel like I'm going to work on this again later on, maybe after a few years. I'm kinda protective of my vision of the game, so putting it in the hands of another person is not something I would consider. I have specific stories written down and ideas for quests and levels which requires a lot of patience to write, execute, and test. I think putting that amount of expectation on a person without paying them is too much to ask anyway, so I'd rather just do it on my own.

I understand!!! Thank you so so much for replying so quickly, and for answering my question so quickly!!! Thank you so so much for letting me know. Not that I have any control over you, but I can only hope that you don't come back to it until the thought genuinely makes you happy! Please enjoy life, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
