Love the concept! This is a fantastic setting and I'm seriously thinking about using this in my upcoming D&D sessions. I love the incorporation of Tibetan art and mythology. The Valley of Anchorites is great in particular. I really like the Tibetan demon biting the moon.

Some Quibbles:

Shangri-La is in the grip of no grand war or apocalyptic disaster.  Awkward phrasing, maybe, "

Shangri-La is not in the grip of grand war or apocalyptic disaster. "

I'm unclear if the diamond symbols next to the location names have a mechanical impact. I understand that this indicates the area is more dangerous or less dangerous, but I'm not sure if that means we should roll for encounters more frequently or something like that.

The icon art on the map feels a little underdeveloped to me.  Same with the pixelated yellow around the demon.

I'd love to see additional art incorporated the way you did with the deer on the last page.

Great work!
