You're meant to place the mirror on those little black trays within the pink box. From there it should be able to reflect the yellow light.
oh, okay. After doing that i was able to get though the game! i've been just trying to intercept the light with mirror and was wondering why it didn't seem to interact or rotate completly. Cute game! liked it quite a bit!
