I really like this game. The simple, clean art style really works for this kind of game. It feels like it's going for a cross between factorio's fluid system and shapez, which is a great combo imo. I just have a few notes that I think can make it better:
Other comments have already mentioned it, but I'd like a copy-paste / blueprint system. Also to make the pipes only connect between the cells you drag through, so you can build pipes next to each other without them connecting. Another thing that would be nice is if when you drag a pipe over another pipe, it automatically places an underground. I think the color book should have RGB as well as hex codes, because they're easier to interpret. Little QOL features like this really make factory games way better.
This is just my opinion, but I don't really like how the recipe book hides one of the color ingredients until you figure out how to make it. I see the vision, but it just leads to me plugging every color I have into the mixer until I find the one that makes the color I want, which gets a bit annoying.
I think this game is set up to be able to do something that not a lot of automation games do, letting the player design their own way of making things rather than having specific recipes in mind. I assume that when you mix colors, the game just combines their RGB values, so you're basically already there. Just instead of saying "teal is blue + green", say "this is the RGB of teal, figure it out". This would have to come with more machines to facilitate this. One idea I had was a machine that separates only the R, G, or B from a color, leaving the other two. Or a machine that subtracts one color from the other rather than combining them. I just think it would be really cool if every player could come up with their own unique way of creating each color, rather than following a recipe.
Obviously this is just my thoughts, and you don't have to do it at all if your vision is different. Either way, I'll definitely be checking back on this game. It's already really fun with a great presentation, and with some updates it could be up there with Shapez as a great calm automation game. Great work!
