I can’t work out how to play. The controls aren’t explained. Keyboard WASD? Mouse click/drag. I’ve tried both and the most I can do is click the copter or person and see their search radius.

So frustrating as I love the concept, how it’s presented, the intro music and the fact that you’ve even got music/SFX settings.

I’ll come back if you can update me on what I’m missing.

OK I got it… by accident. When I click a copter/person it’s not their search radius I see, it’s how far they can move… and I have to do a single click in that radius to get them to move. So… click to select, click destination.

Please add that to the instructions. Might be obvious to you (and some others) but caused me frustration.

I’ve played it a couple of times now. Found the hiker on day 2 and day 5. I really like the concept. Some of the mechanics somehow don’t quite gel for me and some of the UI feedback is unclear, like I saw a fire and footsteps but until I’d found the hiker, it hadn’t been clear what those meant.

I'm aware of all the graphical bugs (such as enlarged search teams and distorted trails) and have made an updated version that I will post after the Game Jam reviewing phase ends.
