I really ahve no complaints or even any real nitpicks for this one
I just really like ALL of it!
The gameplay loop is great, needing to go farther and farther for resources as time goes on.
I love how every mechanic is intercoonncted SOO much and it all affects each other
U need to choose between the food and the firewood, both are important, but you gotta do either, WHILE keeping away from hunters!
Hunting yourself isnt THAT hard but you gotta aim nicely
Oh that IS 1 thing i have a nitpick about.. for keyboard we only have 8 directions to move in, so it can be sometimes a bit annoying to aim correctly as u cannot even adjust the trajectory after u start to hunt.
But other than that, the gameplay is really fun! Its appropriately difficult but never feels unfair
Other than that, the atmosphere is SOOO WELL MADE aswell!!
The visuals, the music, sfx and the ambience is SOOO cool!
Agreeing with another commenter on how much untapped potential this game has, you can have some other campfires or maybe cubs of differnt age, maybe u could send or like take an older cub with you to hunt
or maybe like with time, humans increase at the starting location so you gotta scout out another fire source quickly and take your cubs there or just mybe that after a while you are just out of resources so you gotta find other sites of maybe other failed mothers and take refuge where they used to..
I too hope you guys continue with this with a post jam update or even a full release :P
