Yep! Very rooted in D&D, Gold Box games, Balder's Gate, Shadowrun, and other games in the CRPG space. I think we need to give bigger respect to the notion that making things more abstract does not in fact make them more clear. We will be working on making the screen more responsive. If you (or anyone else writing reading this (hullo)) can share examples of something you tried that didn't seem to work, that helps!
