Splitting a unit to take territory, the cells and bubbles idea, applied to clouds versus lava is creative, and the visuals carry it well. Cyan spreading from one side, orange and red from the other, over a grey isometric board. You read the conflict instantly.

The title screen is good too, the scene split on the diagonal with clouds above and lava explosions below and a red Start in the middle. You understand the fight before reading anything.

And there is a TUTORIAL button highlighted inside the game, with a little yellow NPC and a blinking "Tutorial (click)". After playing a lot of entries with no explanation at all, that deserves real credit. The HUD is informative as well, cloud counter 1/5, resources, and a yellow panel with lava's status (4 fire, +1/3 per second, 0/3), so you can follow the contest.

Three notes. Start only worked on a double click. The window is wider than the screen and the Tutorial button sits right on the right edge, half clipped ("Tutoria..."). And the HUD numbers are small and unlabelled, so it took me a while to work out which was which.

Good concept, and rare in this jam for actually having a tutorial. It just needs to fit inside the window.
