♫ chicken chicken chicken chicken goose ♪ <-- That song is going to be stuck in my head all week now. I hope you're happy.

This game was way more fun than it had any right to be! The controls were janky in such a qwop-tastic, intentional way, and I appreciated the way the game always made it possible for me to back-derive my down count if I did lose track. I do wish that the Birds/Items buttons had icons on them, though, and more obvious highlighting when they were selected, since it took me a while to figure out what was going on with those. It also took me a hot second to realize I had to stuff the mattress and not just drop the feathers into the hole. I also had an issue where my mouse would go off the game area and the game would freeze due to losing focus, though that is definitely because I have a second monitor, not really the fault of the game itself.

But overall, it was a surprisingly zen experience to catch birds and steal their down! Also, that background music unironically elevates the whole experience - it's both chill and absolutely jamming.

Thank you for your very generous feedback! I'm really glad you liked the game :D

I 100% agree about all of your feedback. The menu was slightly rushed, which is why it feels a little unfinished and the mouse going out of the game is incredibly annoying and we were unable to fix it in time unfortunately. We have also thought about the whole "feather stuffing" situation, and if we do bring an update after the jam, that is 1st on the list to be polished! in fact, i think dropping the feathers into the hole and the amount being displaying could make for a lot more fastpaced and intuitive gameplay :D

Last thing.. Can i just say, that swan in your pfp might just inspire a new bird type xD

Chicken chicken chicken chicken, swan swan swan!
