I like the premise of sailing the seven seas and fighting for control of islands! Wasn't clear what I needed to do to "save" an island or where they would spawn so I ended up beating it without seeing any card choices! I will say the ally boats do push you along which can be a bit irritating when trying to stop for a power up.
