Simple and effective ! Good job ! It's really nice !

Definitely need some help for colourblind people tho ! I don't have that problem but I can see some people struggling with the difficulty as it goes on !

Thanks for playing! :)

And thank you very much for bringing colorblindness up! The topic of colorblindness is a very good point.
Let me explain myself:
since there are a bunch of different types of colorblindness (e.g. trichromacy with protanomaly, deuteranomaly, and tritanomaly, which represent anomalous trichromacy, but there are also dichromatic or monochromatic types), I couldn't implement all the needed colors for all the types, mainly out of lack of time. Red-weak (protanomaly) and blue-weak (tritanomaly) work 'okay' with my current color palette. But you are totally right... the struggle is there, and the best way to address it is to implement an option to switch through all the different colorblindness types as an accessibility option. I will work on that after the jam and update it as fast as I can! :)

You could play with patterns and shapes in addition yo colors too. It helps differentiate colors without using colors in some ways.

But don't take my word, Mark Brown actually did a video on that some time ago ha ha, it will be a better ressource for you than my comment.

Believe it or not, different shaped characters and shapes (circles, squares, crosses, etc.) inside the colors were planned, but I had to cut them for time. :D

Working alone means cutting scope haha! :)
