I can definitely share some tips I’ve learned over the years!

  • Lots of practice, and coordination!
  • Make sure everyone is on the same page and know what they need to do for their part and you can prepare to put your assets in
  • Keep in constant communication so you can cut things when necessary and support each other! Knowing when assets are pushed and what I need to do to implement them can make things go very fast.
  • Don’t be afraid to put in test/stub assets early so you all can get more of a definite “feel” for the game (it can also hype up the team to see stuff that’s not just squares as textures in the game!)
  • Have your repo and project set up ahead of time, even if it sits there blank. Configure whatever settings you need ahead of time so you don’t have to think about it later

Don't listen to him, the secret is the get ME on the team .

And also everything he said...
