Wow, this story, even unfinished is really rich with subtext and the unreliable narrator is beautifully written. reminds us of how when bad things happen to you it can seem peachy keen in the moment, but eventually the weight of it catches up to you. The way that someone can tell themselves they aren't doing any harm and dress it up in pleasantries was cathartic and comforting to experience.
