I'm surprised this one doesn't have any comments yet. This is a very polished game. The pixel art looks great and really captures that 16-bit SNES/early 90s arcade look. The sounds and effects for killing enemies have a good sense of impact, making the shooting enjoyable. Only thing is I wish there was another way to dodge bullets other than just moving. Though I watched your playthrough and maybe I just suck at this genre, haha. I kept getting killed by these guys.

Also, is there actually a 2-Player mode or is that 2P score just for looks? Anyway, nice job on this entry!

It’s because I forgot to make the submission public when deadline approached 😅 I literally slept through it!

Thanks for the pixel art praise and my pick of SFX! I unfortunately went safe with gameplay since I can only make shmups, and was too worried about making the bomb to the point where I, well, I didn’t make it! 😭

Yeah, I’ve been going nuts with difficulty because of scrolling and the bullet hell theme, though I personally thought it wasn’t that hard back then, at least when I nerfed bullet speed. Though since you mean sniper tanks, that’s intentional because I really wanted them to surprise you even when you know that you can move away to a side.

No 2P unfortunately, purely cosmetical. If I participate in UGJ again, I’ll probably replace with more status since I’m too lazy to consistently make gamepad input or separate player objects.

Thanks for your praise :neru_pray:
