Really cool idea and I had a lot of fun playing :)
It ramps up very slowly though, it takes a lot of time to get to multiple factories where the real fun starts. Also - maybe I had some bad luck (or can't play the game, lol) but most of my early seasons were pretty quick (I was unlucky to get cards that gain time).
Also - maybe I don't get something (I probably don't :D) but I don't get the title, it looks like one made for entirely different game :D

About the name, it's based in the Doomsday Clock and the concept "Seconds to Midnight" that's how close we are to the end of humanity. In this case you are fighting the end of times by using the factories for reforestation instead of other stuff. So that's why the background get's greener. We were going to add an intro message, but we run out of time.
