Sorry, yes, the idea is to end up making it into a horror game😅 I was going to make the player a human, with an external asset as well, but I found the dog one and couldn't resist the idea. I felt it would push even more will to try to save them (we're all too used to game human protagonists going through the worst of things already).
If it's of any help, lore-like, the realm switching isn't painful, it's just like weird teleporting :)
