First off, i really like the 160x100 dots engine! It reminds me of Galaga by H.Wening (1982), which i loved.

Gameplay-wise you would think this is Dig Dug. It is, but also not really. Biggest difference is, that your movement is not limited to fixed horizontal "corridors". This means you can create slots for your pump, which the bugs cannot pass. Or get stuck on rocks which you thought you could pass under.

One thing i find annoying: once you kill the second to last bug, the last bug activates turbo mode and is practically gone. If you happen to stand in its way you can hardly avoid getting killed.

P.S. If you buy this for the C64 version, don't expect too much. It is a 1:1 port of the PET version. No colour added, no updated graphics, etc.

The default keyboard control is still 4+6+8+2+space, which doesn't make much sense since the C64 has no numpad. To switch to joystick, you have to use 8+2+space to select "Joystick" in the menu. If the game would except both keyboard and joystick control at the same time...

Thanks for the review. C64 version had no improvements in it, it was done just for Gamebase.
