Holy moly what an underrated gem! The premise is very cool, and I do think solving the frustration with voice commands boils down to finding a more responsive and accurate voice recognition plug-in / library, which can be difficult so I won't judge it too harshly.
Allowing us to input commands via text alone was already enough, but I'd also like to acknowledge you guys for making it so that certain misheard phrases are still treated as their closest valid command! For example, the game recognized "hoist sales" as "hoist sails" and I can't help but imagine you guys saying all the available commands in the game to the voice recognition and listing out all the common ways it could mishear them to give the players some leeway! Mega props to that, I appreciate game design gestures like that very, very much.
As others have said, the game is a bit slow-paced, but I love the gimmick very much so I will sort of overlook it. The art is wonderful, and I love the little game-feel animations like your crew members spinning after performing a task. I also love little things like that. Overall, a lot of potential here!
