Thanks for the long reply on how the game works :D I did reset a couple times mostly because I dragged the still autoclicking mouse on a symbol that subtracts energy by accident, then on the final run I basically beelined for the upgrades I figured out would allow me to win. I also did not know it was possible to empty a space on the conveyor again, I tried but maybe I just did not figure it out?
