This was a lot of fun! I'm a huge fan of this kind of game and this brought a lot of those elements I really enjoy. My recommendation would be to add clear map boundaries. I found myself screaming and running away directly into an invisible wall and it took a while to figure out how to get back to where all the action was happening.
