What about Xenon2 Megablast? Always had jerky scrolling and poor framerate...
There is a demo for a 50fps version of Xenon2 re-written from scratch. It was ok...
"The Xenon 2 - Recoded" by mcgeezer? I 'm afraid is abandoned... and scrolling wasn't really smoothed out, just better framerate in the demo AFAICR
This game would require better gameplay. In most shmups when You shoot You hit opponent ships in front of Your own ship, here bullets fly forward and enemy drones fly between them. I do not know is it possible to fix.
