YES FINALLY I have finished the game. ~2-3h to get to the end but it was worth it. Of course I loved it, or else I wouldn't have put the time. But after 1h30, I won't lie, i kinda wanted to be done with it. The gameplay's good but the last levels are haaaaaaard. And I won't talk about the square fraud that was never useful anywhere. It's crazy you made all of that in 4 days. The story, the art, it's all very good. I loved the main character. She is adorable. The other one too has a nice uh, eheh, character design (but we never figured out why she's in the dungeon?).
To improve the game, I'd add a reset button so that you don't have to wait for the bomb to explode when you know that you messed up. I'd also change the sprite of the fire's warning area. If 2 fires are activated at 1 sec of difference, both warnings are the same orange color and you don't know which will damage first. Maybe do a gradient that become more red as the fire is ready to explode. I'd also like some sort of drawing mechanic where you can put symbols on the tiles when you're planning where your bombs will go. The later levels have so many things to take into account, having some way to anote the map would make it easier to plan.
I've drawn Bombermaid into the my game's artstyle. She'd make a very good customer for the Bomberful store! Don't hesitate to play it if you have the time!
