This game kinda sucks I'm gonna be for real. Nothing in this game is bad, but its seriously lacking anything good.
For starters, the game is just a giant walking simulator fetch-quest in a massive maze that gets annoying really quick.
Secondly, the protagonist is fucking braindead and I did not feel bad.
The missing posters? Ehh, probably from years ago.
The door closing behind you? Ehh, probably just the wind.
The bodybag falling from the sky? Okay maybe I should go.
The weird man crawling on the ceiling? Yup, time to go.
Yet leaving isn't even in the protagonists mind until the job is done. Is unemployment that bad that they'd stay in a cold sewer with tons of corpses? I'm guessing the protagonist didn't even realize they were actual bodies because of what they said about the torture room. But you'd clearly be able to tell, right? The smell of flesh would surely be a giveaway. All this stopped me from feeling bad when the protagonist died, which I saw coming from a mile away. This game didn't give me the impression we'd get a happy ending with how much of a dumbass we are
Thirdly, the horror. It is abysmally bad but I do have one compliment. I love how you hear footsteps around you, either randomly or scripted. I've liked the idea of it in horror for awhile although due to the rest of the games abysmal mid-ness, it didn't quite work. The jump scares are cheap, the atmosphere is nothing if not mediocre, and the monster isn't scary.
