The horn clock is my fault; I added it last minute tbh. And the reason you couldn't get the grandfather clock is that certain clocks give a multiplier, and if you tap randomly, the multiplier gets used on your basic click (which is only 1 point) rather than a better collection of points; maybe I should've communicated that better :P.

I thought just whenever the click happened on the beat it would get whatever bonus is related to it, spamming space/mouse I'd get like a +1 and +20 at the same time basically sometimes, while just trying to tap on the beat would get me the same thing except without any extra points in between. What's the trick to doing it better?
Clicks that hit on beat get consumed; you instead get whatever the clock gives you. I actually got told by one of my friends that spamming would be a problem so the way the mult clocks (like the cuckoo clock or the alarm clock) work is that when you get their bonus its a multiplier and it applies to your VERY NEXT point addition so if you just click right after you get it itll apply to a SINGLE point and just be like +2 BUT if you dont press anything and wait to get a big addition of points at once from like a ton of grandpa clocks youll apply the mult to THAT ADDITION. TLDR: Once you've got a cuckoo clock, stop spamming; you'll just waste your mult focus on hitting your clocks. Spamming is only good in the early game.
The cuckoo clock seems to need to have a click happen basically just after the beat to trigger it seems, if I stay on the beat then two misses pop up each time. Though despite that, I just did a run and got 5 seconds faster than my previous best despite having very few clocks, not tapping a lot of the time, and getting to around 500 points max at any point, think just from hitting on the beat of the base clocks a lot. You did a real nice job of making a game that's a lot more interesting than it seems at first glance
