It's a cute game, for being a game jam it's pretty good. I feel like the bats pathfinding is a bit unfair at times, and the mechanic of being able to destroy the maze feels a bit weird to me, but it's a fun little game and a solid jam submission.
Yes When you destroy the maze you are making the path finding easier for the bats. and each shot costs a second. so the more you destroy their home the faster they get you!
